Not. Parts should live on, components on another frame, fork to make a reappearance to help someone out.

I've had several bikes with terminal frame damage that provided the critical parts for other builds. Last build I completed this was the case.

Frame itself could reappear as a shop stool. I have a couple of those. Be the first in your town with a Miyata stool!!

I agree...so the thread title should more correctly be RIP Miyata 1400 frame . I will either swap the parts to a new frame or clean them all up and offer for sale on the C&V (at good price) a complete 3x9 ultegra group in pretty good shape, if I choose to use this a new gruppo opportunity. Fork will wait for someone needing one.....karma works on C&V

Am thinking per previous suggestion of slicing a tube to see what spline triple butted really looks like
