Saddle leather faded
Hi ,
The saddle leather on my bike is faded and looks really dry, does anyone have a quick tip that could add some moisture or bring it back? I hate to get rid of it but its so faded and dry. what would you do?
Thanks

Is it a tensioned leather saddle like a Brooks or an Ideal? If so, you can try Brooks Proofhide. I'm sure Sheldon has an article on Brooks care somewhere at www.sheldonbrown.com

I would try Neatsfoot Oil. I uss it on all my baseball gloves. It softens really well, and has a certain interesting smell.

I used Kiwi stuff meant for shoe leather. I actually loved the results (shinier, darker, and much softer), but the B15 died the next day .
*It didn't die from the Kiwi, it was long dead (and the hole in my pants didn't help).
