Dave Moulton's blog and The Outspoken Cyclist podcast

The August 4 episode of The Outspoken Cyclist had an interview with frame builder Dave Moulton. I learned that Dave has an extensive and informative blog, called Dave's Bike Blog. After the interview, Dave made a new blog post with links to all the topics and the corresponding blog posts.

Dave moved from England to the US a few decades and is in his 80s. He built countless racing frames in England and the US. Some had various different brand names on them, including Paris Sport.

Interestingly, in the interview, he mentions how some people are taking steel frames and putting modern components on them. He says you get the best of both worlds that way. Of course, many of us here agree with that.

Dave’s. Blog is great. Full of fascinating stories ranging from his teen years as a cyclist and racer in England to his current life as a cyclist in Charleston SC area. He’s also a musician and novelist.

Dave's a great guy, he came to PDX on a west coast talking tour to a bike shop that has since closed. It was very cool to meet him and talk in person.

The Outspoken cyclist does a good job with these, our very own @pcb had an excellent interview on it.

I listened to the podcast and was surprised to learn how much he has done in the bicycle industry.

His latest post from a few days ago revealed that he has Parkinson's. Staving off the effects with cycling...
