This is a timely thread for me. I'm working on fit issues, and went to one of my LBSs for some help, after buying a saddle there. I thought I had the saddle height right, and needed a stem adjustment, but the owner, who's very knowledgeable but also old-school, check my positioning. He quickly noticed I was a "toe-dipper" and my saddle was too high. He then gave me a diagram showing the different styles, and recommended Hinault's, which is horizontal at the bottom of the stroke. So I've been working on "re-programming" that, and also higher cadence. It seems to really be helping!
