Brake hoods for 1987 Centurion Ironman Expert?

I'm curious what brake hoods I need for my Ironman that has shimano 105 brake levers. I'm not sure if there are more than 1 105 brake sets.

Look for those for 1050 and 1051, and they're available in black or white, generally cheap.

I ended up getting "Shimano BL-1055 Aero Hood Covers (Road)" from Amazon. I knew they weren't going to be perfect, but were super easy to purchase and showed up 2 days later. They have a little extra space above the "point" on the brake lever (where the cable would have come out on non-aero brake levers) but otherwise fit well and don't bother me while riding. I'd recommend those if you can't find 1050 or 1051 hoods, which were hard to find when I was looking a year ago.

These might be a little closer than BL-1055.

NOPE. Tried that. The 1055s are what you want. I don't think that Dia-Compe hoods even fit Dia-Compe levers very well.

Sorry, no idea if available in white, I've kinda given up on trying to find white ones. You might check some of the suppliers. As Classtime mentioned, make sure these will fit vice BL-1055. Good luck!

I wanted white hoods for a set of 1051 levers. I tried repairing the original hoods with silicone gel and PlastiDip spray. That didn't quite work for me (though I still think it's possible for someone with skill). I ended up buying a new set of levers that had the hoods in good condition.

I might have a set of very nice 1051's with white hoods in the bin downstairs.
PM me if you want to discuss purchasing them.
