Does anyone know information about this brand of bike? I looked on the internet couldn't find anything. My girl friend is looking for a bike to share with her daughter. She is 5"0, her daughter is 5"3. I was under the impression a female shouldn't ride a mans bike.

Apparently the collective maybe dumbfounded by some part of your question or you didn't provide enough information about the bike, which you didn't.

That being said, anyone can ride any kind of bike they can physically ride, man, woman or child. If the bike is to big it can be dangerous for the inexperienced.

Many of us rode friends, neighbors, family and hand me down bikes that were too big and lived to tell the tale just fine.

Five foot three - bike should fit pretty good, in my opinion. Advice - you should insert the steering stem a bit further to avoid possible damage to the bike as well as the rider. There might be a minimum insertion mark on the stem. Looks like a cool old roadster...

Thank you for helping. She and I are in our mid 40s and want to capture the 70s & 80s over again with a good vintage bike. We weren't sure if you could ride what we consider a "mans" bike with the bar down the center. I hope I didn't sound to ill informed.

Is this a 3 speed, 5 speed. Also, have you heard of this brand? I wonder what year it is?

If you can comfortably straddle the bike with feet flat on the ground, it's close enough to your size to give it a shot. Fifty bucks, what the heck. It may be needing another $50 worth of tires, though, are they old and cracked looking? The bike almost certainly has chrome steel rims and old brake pads, which means it won't stop very well in the rain. Being able to stop is pretty important. Got hills?

Just about any modern bike with aluminum alloy rims will perform better, but if you don't expect a lot of performance and can ride carefully, it might be a fun bike. Never heard of the brand, but there have been a lot of Raleigh-type knockoffs over the years. It's probably a 3-speed. Could be 70s or 80s vintage; they didn't change them much over the years.
