Spray paint "Pearl white metallic" for Peugeot PH10S (1983)

Hi All,
I'm restoring a Peugeot PH10S race bike Year 1983. The frame is scratched, so want to spray it. First primer, then PearlWhite Metallic and after that a clear coat.
Does anyone know where I can buy spray paint "Pearl White Metallic" for my Peugeot? Decals I can buy on ebay....

Had the exact same bike in the 80's and its paint and graphics was beautiful and well done by Peugeot.
Only option would likely be to find an automotive paint that will match it closest and buyable couple of spray cans of such.
Lexus had quite a few cars that came in pearl white. You might start to look for those. Duplicolor is one if the biggest makers of aftermarket paint for touch ups and DIY spraying. A trip to a car parts store might yield a close match.

Peugeot Pearlescent White Touch Up

A number of Japanese cars used pearlescent white paint. You can find touch up paint at many auto parts stores.

Scratches and chips in the paint allowed rust stains to get under the clear coat on the peralescent white that Peugeot used, especially in the shoreline of the lugs. My 1983 PSV-10:

Duplicolor makes touch up paint pens with an abrasive tip that allow you to remove the rust in the chips and scratches. There's also some clear coat in one end of the pen.

Suggestion, remove any surface rust from the scratch or chip. Use some white paint as a base coat. I put on 2-3 light coats and let them sit over night. Then put several layers of the pearlescent white on the same way followed by the clear coat.

the 5 Foot Test:

Don't believe everything you think! History is written by those who weren't there....

Chas. ;-)
