Roddy Racer
I bought a Roddy Racer and have been trying to do some research on it but I’m coming up empty. Has anyone heard of this bike?

Google gives us some pix but not much background. Looks like a very inexpensive Asian product from the '70s.

Also looking for info on Roddy ten speed. Made in Korea.

After a can of WD40 (hate that stuff) and new tires/tubes from Walmart, it goes, stops.

I love the 'suicide' brake levers.

It's an 18" bike, too small for me, but I give them away anyway.

I bought some 27" Bell tires and tubes from WallyWorld. Cleaned up the rims, used friction tape, tires on, pumped them up.
Sprayed everything with silicone grease.
Rides freaking great, solid, solid, solid. 1970's department store bikes are just the bomb.
Too bad it's too small for me.
Made in Korean made to last a lifetime.
Today I donated it the the Velocipede Bike Project.
Somebody, somewhere will enjoy it.
