Cambridge UK bike spots

I値l be traveling to Cambridge, England for work sometime in the coming months. Can anyone here suggest any interesting bicycle spots. In fact, I値l take advice on anthing worthwhile. I知 tempted to take a couple extra days to travel to London while I am there.

Word I have from the flight attendants I know is “ if you don’t have to go to London, stay out of London”

i would rather see see some of the more out of the way spots in England, myself.

I was just in the UK week ago.....
Did not go to Cambridge but I was in Oxford. Lots of commuter cyclists on the roads, same with Dublin, York and Edinburgh. Most wearing yellow reflective vests and handling the traffic with skill and speed, easily keeping up with car traffic. Quite impressive compared to what I see in SF....
Yes, London is horrible, traffic-wise. Gridlock all over the city, the whole day. Makes our traffic in the Bay Area look like a Sunday stroll....
Heathrow was bad too, with terminals at least a kilometer away from baggage claim and customs.....but do try the "La Salle Burger" at the La Salle restaurant in one of the terminals. I swear, it was the best burger I ever had! The burger had pulled duck, camembert cheese and a really delicious sauce with the burger patty! It more than made up for all the negatives we experienced at the airport...
