Carrera Podium 1991/94. Columbus Genius. Looking for info: )

Came across this beautiful, seemingly obscure, frame/forks recently. Spent weeks online researching & not finding much.... (Wish I could speak Italian: )
Pictured here with non-original parts, Mavic Module 3CD wheel-set, Campag Chorus headset, Veloce calipers. Shimano 600 hubs/RD, Ultegra double chain-set, Nitto bars. Bit of a mixture, but it is very cool to my eye & rides like a thoroughbred..
Deserves all Italian components & will have them when I've sorted it: )

Columbus Genius lugged frame with simple, laid back paintwork. Pre the later 90s more 'adventurous' paint schemes.
Unicrown forks may not be original, but they are so slim & elegant I don't care: ) The forks are a previous thread subject here on BF.
I do think it is rare enough to show here, but I would really love to know more about the early steel Carrera Podiums, if anyone knows....

I've checked the very helpful Greg at Red Rose Imports who have been the distributors in North America since 1994 & he/they are not familiar with this machine.
So I assume it is pre 1994. Columbus Genius is post 1991, so that brackets it nicely date-wise!

More pics below & I would really, really appreciate some more info about these amazing period machines.
I'm in UK & they were never even sold here....
Carrera in UK is associated with mundane stuff sold by the Halfords chainstores & even now I'm getting very tired of explaining this detail to unknowing Brits....
Pantographed BB, seat tube assembly, lovely head-badge, chromed rear end & forks just seems so appealing to me. The simple black & chrome colour scheme also.
