Bicycles drawn from memory...
Looks as though you took a few liberties there - I don't see a crankset, chain or fenders in the original ;)
Awesome CAD image skillz! DD |
Oh! I just came across these! They’re not mine! |
Many more along the same lines here. Was an experiment/art project where the artist would render what the people drew in 3D. There have been several threads on this over the last few years.
I'd ride that.
I'd seen this before, but that didn't keep me from laughing for the last few minutes. I really love the one with the structural saddle.
Nice renderings! I especially like the examples with some patina.
Uhmmm.... If it had a front brake, I think the bike will most likely fold up and crash the first time one uses it, unless, maybe, the frame "tubes" are solid??...
I think exactly none of them are ridable. I like the one with the front triangle! |
My daughter, who shared a Counterpoint tandem with me in her pre-teen years, did this version of it in clay as a gift one summer during that period. https://photos.smugmug.com/Bicycles/...1_165434-L.jpg She went on to get her Fine Arts degree, and made this drawing with inspiration from her current Miyata 310 that I’d rebuilt for her, as another gift a few years ago. I treasure both of them. https://photos.smugmug.com/Bicycles/...1_165604-L.jpg |
