Thanks for this. Perfect timing I think, since I was contemplating more than 2X these $$ for a N.O.S. Gary Fisher Leathertail to crown my recent 1991 Montare find. Decided she needed something more...More Regal...instead. Don

How do you like the concor? How does it compare to the rolls or regal?

If your asking me, as far as riding feel, I donít know yet. Iíve had a Rolls and liked that just fine. This will be my first Concor.

Concors are a lot narrower and rounder than Regals. I believe Rolls and Regals are about the same width.

I have both Regal and Concor. Concor keep ending up on my bikes, the Regal stays home. The Regal looks sharp, but I like the flare at the back of the Concor.

Obg

SM Rolls and the SI Turbo are similar..

I should have horded more Concor Max, in the 80s ,

that was my touring saddle before I switched to a Brooks Team Pro..

Worse case, I can sell the Concor if I don't like it.

Know I like a Rolls, but those Regal copper rivets and rails accent Montare's copper headset. Now I'm thinking of copper fenders, but not sure how fenders will look with radical frame geometry. Don

Any reason the site never seems to show the Regal in smooth black leather, but it's available elsewhere on the internet?

My all time favourite saddle is my Supercorsa which is close to 40 years old. I prefer this to any Brooks though I need to invest in a property rain cover. I would like one for the bike I am building.

the only similar looking black one on the website is the Concor Full Black but it is definitely not suede.

Does anyone know if they make the old style in old style or do we have to go with the new "microfeel" and if new is the only way, how are these saddles for riding?? Would I be better going with the Concor Full Honey as I am used too leather? I would prefer black but that is simply for looks.

Bump to see if anyone knows if they still make the Concor in suede or will I have to go with the honey?

It appears if you want it on sale, those are the colors they offer. You may have to shop around for suede.
They are often for sale barely used, as they're unique and somewhat more individual, if that makes sense.
Long term use of the suede, in my opinion, creates a better and better fit saddle.

If it's suede you want, I'll be selling a really nice suede Cinelli Volare soon.
Just as soon as the Regals come in.

Ps Does anyone know what if anything should be done for suede saddles? I know to use the Brooks stuff for my leather saddles but what do you use (if anything for suede)? Also is it okay to let them get wet or should I carry a plastic bag for when I am caught out?

I've had a few get soaked. No biggie and unlike a traditional Brooks, your saddle has a plastic sub shell to retain its shape. The suede will naturally dry but will first appear with spots. A mild plastic bristle brush will take care of that, plus you might consider a suede spray protectant (as for shoes).
