Unknown brake levers

I would like to know if anyone recognizes the maker and date range of this lever? There are no markings and made of aluminum. Thanks, Shawn

French, I'd say. CLB and LAM come to mind as possible manufacturers. Both have used similar clamping mechanisms. The filed-out slot in the lever - near the pivot - doesn't look original (or very smart) to me.

I don't recognize them either, but they are really early, like 40's-50's, and I agree, probably French. Maybe Italian, but not English. CLB seems likely since I know their products often had no visible branding-- though the same may be true if other brands. It's hard to tell in the absence of branding.
