Frame renovation

I have two framesets that i was planning on restoring, the 1st is an eighties raleigh special 531c that needs new chainstays the 2nd a moser columbus zeta that needs blasting and respraying. Who does reasonably priced renovations in the north east of england?

I think you'd be better off googling for painters around your area.

it may be local to the OP's residence!

In the Classic Rendezvous group, there is a current frame builder in Leeds, and a retired frame builder in Settle who may be able to guide you.
Let me know if you want their contact details.

I would encourage you to reach out to Mercian and Bob Jackson, one of them may do the repairs or have advice on who will do it. You can also google the Bespoked bicycle show for other builders in the UK.

Argos in Bristol, not close to you but top notch stuff. Their website has a pretty comprehensive pricelist so you can get an idea of what you're in for.
