Thankfully, I don't wash my bikes so I'm good with the rain, now lightning is another story.

I did build it up as a 650b generator hubbed path bike for fall evenings when the weather is still warm but daylight scarce.

Mmmmmm.
My flight lands in Milwaukee around 4 on Friday.
By the time I collect my bags (one VERY large) and rental car, it will be 6:30 or 7 by the time I hit MP. Right to Tony's Tap?

Would be nice if I could drop my stuff off at the Guest House first...

Donna and I headed out in an hour or so from SW Ohio. Hope to be there by 1800 CST hours, staying at the Dairyland Motel. Looking forward to this event in every way, the people, the riding and the bikes.

I'm planning on showing up Saturday around 2:00ish. I'm not registered but will be riding the PX10 around Hollandale and checking out bikes. I plan on harassing Robbie if I see him, he's the only forum member I've met in person before.
Do you think there'll be a swap of any kind going on? If so I should bring some parts.

My wife backed out on me but I'm still coming for sure - I'll be driving down tomorrow morning, set to arrive to set up some bikes and meet some people, then head over to the Dairyland Motel afterwards to check in for one night. Drive and ride safe, folks!

I wish I had known about this Hollandale get together. I would love to do it. I live in south-coastal Delaware, but my hometown is Loves Park,Illinois. Only a couple of hours away. Spent quite a bit of time as a kid at various lakes, trout fishing around Argyle, day trips to Monroe, etc. Other than to pass thru, I have not been in that part of Wisconsin in a long time. Beautiful country, great for biking.

Wish I were there, all. After insurance confirmed my car was totaled I've spent today looking for a replacement. I was a bit down this morning over the whole affair but getting out and doing something helps, even if it's something I'd really rather not be doing. I'm planning to ride a 30-40 miler tomorrow to be with you in sprit, a poor substitute but it'll help.

An addendum, btw. 2 hours into the drive at my first stop in Sikeston, MO, and 2 hours before the accident. The 1963 Paramount on the rear rack? Not. A. Scratch. Pic two shows how close it was. The 3 bikes and gear I had stuffed into the rear area also were fine. I'll count all that as a win.
