Exactly 61 days before my birthday!

So, it's a Birthday Thing. Naw, I can't make it; I'm not retired, yet.

It's obviously going to be a lot of fun, though.

You mean leave the house? Ride a bike around someone?

I actually got a trailer hitch and a bike rack this fall!

My parents live less than an hour from Hollandale. But Iíve already agreed to ride the North Shore Century with a friend on Sunday, September 15th (Evanston, IL to Pleasant Prairie, WI and back).

If anyone wants to lump a really nice century in to their midwestern weekend along the shore of Lake Michigan, Evanston is about three hours away from Hollandale.

It looks like the Sunday rides are in direct conflict with the North Shore Century. Oh well.

Chicago will always be there. Friends, like spouses, come and go.

Coppi turns 100 once. Bring your friend to Hollandale, and you'll have a friend for life. Plus, you'll always have stories to tell about Hollandale.

Cheese curds. Cornish Pasty. A short (Saturday) bike ride to New Glarus for some Spotted Cow or Naked.

There you go. Keep me at it, and I'll convince you to build a bike for the event.
Or we can run you up to Madison to Budget Bike Center for a $1200 Trek Elance.

Yes, I'm just bumping the thread. Sorry about the title, as it's not enough words to search. May have to search Do, this, Coppi, and Hollandale, or something.

Yes, still bumping. I decided to go the full monty.

No, I'll wear clothes. The photographer may be a relative, can't have that.....

But it looks like I'll bring 14 bikes. Can't have a show without bikes.

And I'll ride a different one on Sunday.

That's the plan. I'll have to make an earlier trip, anyway (RAW's 225 miler with hodgykins) Two loads in my truck, and gives me an excuse to re-visit afterwards.

Right now, I think we have racks for 32 bikes. The slots are 2" wide, so I've got a ton of pipe insulation to stabilize the bikes with skinnier tires. I can get more racks made, and if I do, will ask for narrower slots.

Given the problem with the title of this thread, I may ask the mods to change the title, or move it all to another thread.... not sure about that.

We only have 9 months to plan. So get your vacations approved, get your spouses approval or get a new one.
Find friends that want to have fun. Make the time, take the time. Whoopee.

With meals, etc, worth far more, Trina. Would be glad to have you there, absolutely.
About 4 hours, I'm thinking, not quite sure, from the Fort.
I'll find you a breakfast better than any we had in our old club....

Mid-week bump. The feeler is out for a studio photographer, to take bike shots in a separate area, email the results or mail a CD. Could easily make $300-$400 on Saturday, and shoot more bikes while we're riding on Sunday.

Wondering if I should get SAG signs for the vehicle, or just borrow a volunteer fireman's roof light....
