The quicker we get a response, I'll get Rosie on the line and see what we can do. She likes middle-aged men guests. They don't dirty up the place.

Dang! This actually fits into my schedule, although I'll be missing the All British Cycle Event in the Twin Cities...

Really thinking of the Bates equipped with alloy Sturmey Archer 4-speed hub... Or the Paramount... what ever I bring, sure to get dropped anyway. Looks like fun since the Dairyland Dare collapsed (that guy owes a lot of DD glasses and Sock Guy socks...).

Any rooms left in the farm house?

I think we gained some momentum at Brazen. Darryl was promoting like a pro. I think a collector of Dutch bikes is going to come.

Fully equipped. That is before tax, so figure $300. That's 75/night each.

Full size kitchen, laundry. Plenty of bike storage in the closed porch.
Safe, too, and very handy to Hollandale....

Also a nice meet-up point for a Saturday ride....just down the hill from the paved trail to Dodgeville, or the other way, a Rails to Trail towards Calamine (past the Brew Pup, the Walker House and Tony's Tap )

The kicker would be it would be Fri/Sat minimum.

I'd need 3 more....
if still room, count me in

Seems so. There isn't a 2019 site, and usually I get contacted to sign up by October at the latest. Plus that dude owes everyone a glass and a set of Sock Guy socks, unless I'm the only one that didn't get my set...

Yup we had lots of interest at the swap. We were speaking with a woman who had visited Coppi's birthplace and was quite interested in what we were up to. But, she labored for several minutes under the assumption that we were all going to Italy for this! No, its going to be in Hollandale, 35 minutes from here. Boy was she excited.

Haha!

How about if we mention the 'Badger' state and climb at the event?!

"Oh, yes... I recall the Badger state of attack on that climb in '86"

There will be climbs, that subject did come up. In fact @iab has one of my favorite leg punchers on the 100k route.

There are hills in 'Sconsin?

There was mention a few pages back about stands. Is it best to bring your own? I don't want anything to do with those flimsy Y stands and I am hoping the sheet metal type that hook onto the rear hub are much more stable. Something like this. $20 bucks on ebay

Also is anyone interested in something more elegant? Woody's Fenders makes a fabulous little wooden one but it is $125. I've asked and we may be able to get a group discount depending on interest. I did tell them shipping would be to different locations but if we could have them sent a central location just before the event that might be better.

They come in different woods and different sizes. https://www.woodysfenders.com/category-s/121.htm

I am not beer drinker but I want this bottle opener!

That is a fine and dandy looking stand. Looks easy if you have a few wood working tools and access to vintage prowled wood oh yeah and any wood working skills.
