Gonna be a resto retro mod Klein build. Klein Quantum from 1988.
Pressed in BB bearings have been knocked out. I’ve got the Phil Wood pressfit external bottom bracket to accept a modern 24 mm Shimano Hollowgram crank.
Rear spacing is 126mm.
Build details to follow (i’m @ work right now)...

As a fan of large-OD tubed aluminum bikes from the '80s (Cannondales in my case), I await the result with anticipation! What does the frameset look like presently? I dig the resto-mod theme, especially as Hollowtech II cranks from Shimano and everything else work so well with the larger aluminum tubing these bikes had.

Definitely want to see it. Built a Quantum for cehowardGS, and a Performance tourer for myself. Frames are so unique.
What size?? I may have a CF fork.
