Gran-Compe replacement hoods
 
Will these rustines “campy style” hoods fit my 80s non aero gran-compe brake levers?

Gran Compe lever bodies are subtly different from Campagnolo-style lever bodies. I suspect the Campagnolo-style hoods might be somewhat loose at the bases, Possibly, building up the base with a layer of tape or something might help.

I'm thinking the Dia-Compe 204 hoods might be a pretty good fit:

Thank you. I’ve seen those and figured they would work. I was hoping the rustines hoods would fit because they look more like the gum OEM hoods. I considered also buying brand new grand compe levers

I've used the old 'perforated hole' DiaCompe hoods- but I really hated getting rid of the "Gran Compe" branded hoods. Those will never be around again.

These Cane Creek hoods are a very good fit, too:

In brown they are a great match for gum on a vintage build, and feel good too.
