Identify this pantograph?
In searching for a replacement fork I found a nice quality fork with a mystery pantograph. Any idea what brand this refers to?
The fork looks to be from the late 1980's. No indication of the tubing type, but the dropouts are Gipiemme, so I'm assuming an Italian source. The pantograph looks something like a "T", but it doesn't match anything I've seen for Torelli, Tommasini, Tommaso, or Torpado. Fyi I'm in search of a chrome Faggin fork circa 1986. Anyone recognize this mark? https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...c74e81a9e4.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...e6d48e8368.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...75ff9494c8.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...4c8cdfe320.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...3bde9b50ec.jpg |
Tosetto is a bike shop in Costabissara (north of Vicenza).
As the road bike examples I've seen included one rebranded Liotto and another that looked like it could be a Vetta, I'll assume they don't build their own. This means that I have no idea who might have made the fork originally. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...f1f76829fd.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...3feb340519.jpg |
