Canadian Raleigh Headbadge
Did Raleigh affix a headbadge to its Canadian-made frames? If so, was it an English one, an American one(?!), or a generic one? I'm interested in late-1970s.

I think the headbadge they used in the 70's was the same as what they used in Nottingham. I had a Canada-made Grand Prix and I don't remember anything unusual about its headbadge.

I know Raleigh Canada used die cut vinyl for head tube and seat tube "painted" panels on Grand Prixs. The example is clearly vinyl.

I have two Canadian built Raleigh Bighorns. The Date code on the derailleurs is KK which I interpret as Nov 1986, so the bikes are probably 1987 models.
(Yeah, I know the seat clamp is backwards before you start.
)

Seat tube decal.
