Very sweet. All it needs is a nice set of mudguards to be the complete tourer.

Hawt. Love that original rack out back. Looks to be in fine condition. Post some close up pics of the details, please.

Those look like Miyata-branded, Panaracer-made RADIAL tires to me, and if so you might want to carefully remove them and sell them off to Ebay, since they are rare.

I remember the radial tires giving my Trek 720 the worst sort of steering response that made riding the bike unpleasant.
Even just the rear radial tire haunted the bike with poor handling long after I replaced the front one!

The Six-Ten makes a great gravel bike, good handling off road and tough enough for mountain-biking in my experience as long as the spokes are uniformly tensioned.

Though not indexed, those Shimano shift levers have a click-action in both directions, and feature a degree of retro-friction that makes shifting equally easy in both directions.

@Gary64 Thats a nice looking 610. I have a blue one about that year. Is yours a 19" frame? Those are nice wheels - 36/40 spoke with sealed cartridge bearing hubs?

I agree on both fronts. I have a Two-Ten from this same year, commute on it every day, and ride gravel roads on it on the weekends. The clicky-shifters are great. 2 clicks, one shift. Really easy. I keep threatening to change to bar ends to make it a "proper" touring bike, but have just gotten used to the downtube shifters over the years. So cool that no one ever made off with the rear rack. Finding an original in the right size for your frame, esp online, and hoping it will fit, is sorta unobtainium. Mine was gone and I had to make one. You'll have many happy miles on that bike if it fits you well. Lovely color. Enjoy!

That's a nice bike. I think a set of those wood fenders would (no pun intended) look good on it.

I had a similar styled '84 bike - cantilevers, triple, long wheelbase, double eyelets f&r, mid-fork attach point, etc.
My top tube didn't slope, tho yours is more versatile and ahead of its' time.
Tange #2 in a smallish feeling 59cm touring frame was no lightweight.
The bike served fendered for wet days, racked for short tours and quick grocery runs, hauled kids on various contraptions and climbed steep mt roads by spinning a granny ring. Also a graveler when paired with cyclocross tires.
What amazed me, years later, was converting the 27" double box walled wheels for 700c tubulars (removing racks and fenders) - and discovering how well balanced the bike STILL felt but with more responsive acceleration.

My bet is this bike will satisfy on more than one level.

ctc measures 18.25 fits well as I am a little shy of 5'5".It's a little heavy but you don't feel it when riding although haven't been on it much yet with the weather.

Thats what Miyata calls a 19 1/2" frame. Here is a link to the Miyata catalogs: https://www.ragandbone.ca/Miyata/miyata_selector.html
A lot of the weight comes from those wheels. They are good solid touring wheels.
You may be advised to switch to 700c wheels for a better selection of (expensive) tires and lighter rims. But decent 27" tires are still available like the Panaracer Pasela's.
Should you decide to convert to 700c and want to sell those wheels, please let me know.

Very nice. If you are ever shopping again, you can consider 20" and 21" frames. They built this frame with a high bottom bracket. A larger frame won't increase the standover height much, if at all. It will have a lower bottom bracket. I say this to increase the share of the market for you.
