Older Raleigh ID help needed
I spotted this frame on eBay with only these two pics and no info other than the frame is old. The best I can tell from the pics is that it is around the 1970 era based on the head badge, but I don't know enough to figure out if it may be a decent frame or if it is a more run-of-the-mill frame. I have a couple questions in to the seller, but don't know if I'll get a response or not. If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate any opinions. Thanks!

Nervex lugs and a derailleur hanger, not to mention a cable stop for centerpull brake... I think that makes it an International. Possibly a Competition?

The chrome head lugs would indicate an International. I assume the fork crown is a flat top Vagner forged one? |
Dating serial number
On the top of the seatpost there are stamped numbers and letter/s that will date the bike . Check the veterans vintage cycle club website for the year.
Nervex lugs definitely put it high end . |
Thanks to all. I guess we’ll see what it is when it arrives. Comes sans fork, so I’ll be on the lookout of a relevant fork for the project (any help here would also be appreciated). Thanks again! |
