Vintage Cannondale A113 Top Tube Cable Guides

I'm sure this has been asked before, but does anyone have any recommendations on replacing damaged cable guides for a vintage "Dale"?

The guides sold on on vintagecannondale.com are sold out. They are more expensive but easier to install in my opinion. But for now Shapeways may be the only adoption unless you can find some NOS guides at a dusty LBS.

I used 34.9 mm clamps off Ebay, I got 4 less than $10, but 2 were the wrong size so I had to send for more, and they take weeks to arrive from China. Not the prettiest solution, but better than the painter's tape I was using before. Had to buy longer screws for the clamps too, the ones they came with were about 1 mm too short.

I only need one. The closest one to the handlebars has cracked.

I can mail you one of my spares for the cost of postage, figure $2 in a padded bag. Pins are gone but if you clean the top tube and mount with rubbing alcohol and glue it on with ShooGoo (nothing else does the job, I've tried several kinds of similar products), then allow to cure 24 hours, it will work just fine.

If interested, PM me your address and I'll drop it in the mail. My PPID is rccardr@cox.net

Along these same lines does anyone know of a source for the plastic pump peg that fits in the head tube and the plastic chain holder on the seat stay? Both are missing or broken on my ST1000. Cheers.

I have an OEM chain holder plus pins from a Criterium model. I assume they are the same but I can take a photo if needed. $5 shipped. Can't help on the pump peg.

Doc, you are a patron saint, if nothing else.

I bought two sets of Shapeways (just OK) repro cable guides just so I could harvest the very precious, fragile Cannondale original cable guides for my personal "keeper" bikes. The repros do the job, but they're not the same thing.
