Here is a one off Centurion , I got this Comp TA as a bare frame that was mangled pretty bad by a kid trying to make it a fixie .
The front end is NJS . Stuff I did , first was to make a simple frame jig and braze on the track ends . Next I had to lengthen the
steer tube on the fork . Then paint it up and all done .

My old 1979 Centurion Semi Pro. I believe this bike has been owned by me, @RobbieTunes, and @sloar. I wonder where it is now.

Oh, there is a story on that black Cinelli. I rode the crap out of it AND made money on it ! It was the "positive net worth" Cinelli.

In 1982 I went to visit Spence Wolf at his house in Covelo, CA. He told me of a Cinelli that was for sale in Spreckels, CA (near Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey). He said I should go buy it. So the next weekend I drove down there and the owner told me that he had won the bike in an auction for the legal aid society of Monterey County. It was a 1963 Cinelli Speciale Corsa, and it had been restored to better than new condition by CycleArt including re-chrome. I threw down the asking price ($700) and got the bike and the winning raffle ticket.

The Mephisto wheels for this bike are today on another Cinelli in Texas. I sold the crankset to Jim Cunningham who just "had to have it". And I put the "Top 63" brakes on ebay, they went to a Japanese bidder for 1200 bucks.

The bike hung in my living room until 2007 when I sold it to a guy in California for $3200. He just had to have it as his Cinelli had been stolen. So after 25 years of ownership I more than tripled my money on this bike and had the pleasure of riding it quite a bit.

I have another Cinelli here now (former owner Hunter S. Thompson) that has about 10 miles on it since new. And a "Ridotto" which is pretty rare. It's great when you can own something that is so special and so unique, and pass it off to the next caretaker and not be upside down on it.

that's the story and I'm sticking by it !

The pink MTB began as a white Chiorda ten speed that I revamped in '83 for my then-girlfriend, now wife. The pet name Ramona is painted on it. Drums provide braking without marring the black rims, yellow MX bars with matching cable housing and paint by Marinoni. I had the original road fork painted at the same time and still have it, so the bike can be "re-roaded" again.

This little Concord 3-speed from Switzerland was languishing at the local co-op until I couldn't stand to let it sit there any longer. Sturmey hub, alloy 700C wheels with DT spokes, neat paint and that groovy chainguard; just a lovely little bike. I actually bought it for the wheels in order to build up my Raleigh Pro frameset as a path racer but that may never happen.

Colin Laing track bike. I had it powdercoated more than 30 years ago, and when I wrote to Mr. Laing about replacement decals I ended up with the later Colian decals.

I submit The Red Sled.
20+ years old, steel (whole lotta steel), Made in USA (Eugene, OR), no brifters, friction mode possible.
1997 Co-Motion Cappuccino with ghosted decals

Wonder if a special rack could place panniers in a position below the existing bag?, which can hold tools elsewhere on the frame.

this pic shows color more accurately.

Thanks, lol. I think I'll start on it today.

I'm actually wondering how this compares ridewise with the Dawes of the time period. I saw that you have a Galaxy, what years is yours?
