Mine's a 1971 Grandis. Pretty light, with Columbus SL tubing, making it a bit 'soft' and very comfy in this frame size, lots of clearance for relatively big tires. Put whatever running gear you like on it, everything seems to work fine. Typical early 70's race bike.

Good enough for Cino, good enough for a 100-miler, good enough for whatever you want. Even seen some single track. I'm going to have to do some back-to-back rides with this bike and my 1972 Nishiki Semi Pro (which takes even bigger tires) to see if it's serious competition for 7-iron status.

I'd have to say my 1st bike and only one ever bought new from a bike shop, my '82 Fuji Supreme. Early in my work career we had meetings at a location beside a golf course in Roaring Gap NC and I'd take this bike with me to do some mountain riding since at that time I didn't play golf. I was even able to ride the paved cart paths late afternoon when golfing had stopped so it has a golf connection....I'd consider it more of a trusty putter though

Trek 710

My 1982 TREK 710 frame has classic European classic club ride geometry. Fast enough to keep up on fast group rides, but long enough and with brazed on seat stay points to allow attaching a rack in a under a minute for light weekend touring.

If Oregon gets hit by another one of these Space Rocks, I may have to get out of there quick.

When I was riding regularly, several years ago, it was my Basso Gap.
