Vintage Bianchi Trofeo

I have owned my Bianchi Trofeo since 1991. It was in storage for many years and last year I decided to start using it again. I purchased it from a friend of mine back in 1991 who thinks he bought it in 1988. If I post a few pics could someone tell me if itís a 1987 or 1988?

Maybe. But you can't post pics until you have 10 good posts.

A 1987 model will a 1986-1987 Campione del Mondo decal located on the down tube, just above the shift lever bosses. It will be rectangular in shape. A 1988 will have the same decal but it will be round. If there is neither, just post the serial number.

I have a Trofeo and really like it. I know it wasn't a top-tier bike but the frame is pretty sweet and I have retro-modded it to a certain extent and it rides great. Good luck with yours. I trust you overhauled it or had the work done? If not, address all of the greasy bits before riding it anymore. Have fun.
