Jeunet 630 threading question

I am considering installing a T.A. bottom bracket in a Jeunet 630 - one of the variants with Bocama model 14 lugs and a Vagner PL crown and Simplex ends with no hanger. The frame set came with a Sugino BB installed - can I assume it is indeed FRENCH rather than SWISS because of the Sugino cup? I am currently struggling to get Sheldon Brown’s home brew fixed cup tool to work on the Jeunet, moments after it successfully freed the T.A. cups from an ancient Gitane Grand Sport. Thoughts? Thanks!

Sugino's French threaded cups are stamped 35xP1. If they're Swiss threading, the stamping will be 35xP1 S1.

Thanks, T-Mar!
