I'm intrigued by this little number on my local CL.

I see racing geometry, no fender eyelets, wraparound seat stay, nice work around the dropouts, and an unusually simple fork crown.
Full tricolor group save for the Sugino crankset. Campy post.

Four pics:

Portacatena dropouts help date it too. Early 80s?

Also, is it the pics are is there some kind of rolled edge on the lugs attached to the head tube?

Porstacatena droputs place it circa 1978-1982, though excess stock, particularly with small builders could extend the period.

Lugs are BOCAMA Professional in a pattern not much used in Italy.

Lugs combined with wraparound seatstay and Campag ends are suggestive of a Brit origin.

We need to hear from Professore @MauriceMoss.

nice looking bike. Falcon? The wrap around at the top of the stays appear to be a casting, whatever that means. Chrome does suggest Italy to me though

Any sign, anywhere of a serial number?( Fully realizing how unreliable the serial numbers can be at times.)

Contacted the seller via text regarding a serial number a couple of days ago (hoping format can give a clue at least). No response. Gonna try a phone call this weekend, as he may think my text was the opening to some scam or other. But thanks for the responses thus far!
