1986ish Peugeot PH501 bottom bracket and headset standards?

I'm thinking of purchasing one of these bikes, but I'd want to transfer over my drivetrain and 1" threaded fork and headset that use JIS standards to the Peugeot frame. Would this be doable? Would I have to purchase new headset or bottom bracket bearings?

I think that by the time Peugeot was using 501 they had transitioned to standard thread. What year was your bike built?

he says, 1986ish.

I doubt the bike has a french threaded bottom bracket shell, which would be the biggest concern.

I missed that in between mowing the front and back lawn. I pop in now and then to the forum.
