Nice bikes. I have had a several Jeunets in the past few years. Well made frames, good components. $200 is a bit steep. They came stock with steel rimmed wheels. If seller has upgraded wheels to alloy, maybe a good price. He also states "new paint". Thats interesting.

Looks like original steel rims on second look.

I paid 100.00 for a 1972 that was for the Mavic tubular wheelset with Normandy hubs and for that reason it was well spent and worth the drive. Otherwise, far too heavy and typically these that had plastic Simplex derailleurs, most were cracked.

The two bikes that I've seen that you've posted about being interested in are very different size-wise.

The Jeunet looks to be about 54cm. The Centurion from the other thread looks to be around 58cm.

If you're not familiar with what size bike you should be on- be very careful about making sure it's comfortable to you- not "I'll get used to it" comfortable. There's lots of theories about how you should determine your fit.
