Since all you Lemond guys jumped the gun with "G" here's my Gran Premio Legnano. I couldn't wait for "L" either, so I figured, what the "L" !

My entry for the $100 Clunker Challenge, bought fot $50, total $93 spent, and completed the 100 Km yesterday. Fun bike! I'll wait for "L" to show off my other Legnano, a Roma Olympiade, or should it be "R"?

^^^ Yow! That is outta this world. Love the curves, the paint and the Starfish, and stunned by the Mavic electrics! Ugly as sin, IMHO, but cool, cool, cool.

I had a 70s Gitane TdF pass through my hands a few years ago. One of my first attempts to part a bike out and it had its ups and downs. I didn't actually ride it but I did admire the honey comb rear drop outs

Exactly as purchased, in "fair condition". I rode it 100 yds. last night, just to make sure it tracked OK. It did. That's it, I haven't even taken a rag to it.
GL 7400-Victory Purchased last night around 9:30. The original owner listed this bike as being in "fair" condition*. He has very high standards

*A pleasant change from the usual CL claim of "excellent, some rust."

My TSDI serial is 06714, which is the highest number I've found searching around. (sorry about the tape keeping the computer wires tidy).
I have a feeling that the decals were all over the place- I've also seen- on the Greg Lemond fan page on facebook- the same paint job as mine, but with a different headtube decal.
What's your TSDI serial?

Actually I"m the one that should be saying "huh". I shouldn't post will doped on antihistamines.
Billato built but not TSDI distributed. No TSDI decal on this one and the 1994 Lemond catalog shows Sinclair Imports of Verdi, NV as the U.S. Distributor. Sorry for the confusion. Best I can tell mine is a 1995.
And labeled as LeMond, not Greg Lemond like the earlier ones.
Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle won Paris Roubaix for Gan in 1993 riding one of the Excell GLX tubesets.

It's threads like this that make me feel like everybody has a Gios. Where were you guys on the blue bike thread?
Here's my '83 Gios Professional

And, gone but not forgotten, my 1977 Gitane Gypsy Sport.

Lemonds and Legnanos should wait for the L Bikes thread. Patience, my friends. I never once took my Lemond for spin and said to an admirer, "Yeah, it's a Greg."
But apart from that, Gee, there's a lot of nice G bikes here! I'd probably buy one of those pretty blue Gios' if one came my way in the right size at the right price
First in with a Grandis, at Cino X:
