Looks great! I had luck with replacement decals from eBay when my dad and I redid our Pinarello.

Nice build. A classic colorway, and all Italian.
I would have used a quill stem, but that's just me.
Looks authentic with original decals.

I would consider a tire other than Gatorhides for an SLX frameset. Sorta defeats the frame advantages. But I don't ride your roads.

The paint finish was called spumoni, and while it's over full chrome, it's not chromovelato, which, as I understand it is a pigment in clear coat over the chrome.

Roads are pretty lousy around here between potholes, bad patching and lots of debris. I used to run this bike with 20mm Conti Grand Prix tires at 150psi (they were rated to that back in the mid 90s). 25mm Gatorskins really aren't bad riding tires.

The stem/bars are just temporary. They were on the Galileo I don't ride so saved me a lot of effort and a new cork bar wrap. Eventually they will either get replaced with Ritchey C220 silver and matching bars, or back to the old Cinellis. I have a really nice old Syncros stem but it won't go with the bike at all.

So almost another year went by and this bike still didnt get back on the road. I somehow just wasnt motivated or excited to take it out. I decided during Corona-quarantine to rebuild it again with silver Campy 10 speed components so I could use some of my newer wheels. I finished it up earlier today (tape needs to be re-wrapped but that's why I didnt use the adhesive strip to adhere it to the bars). To make those who objected to the ugly quill adapter happy, it's back to its original Cinelli stem and 66-42 bars.

I just took it out for 5 miles and discovered is still fits me like a glove and feels far more comfortable than any of my other bikes. It's still quite a bit heavier though.
