I get through there on occasion as my son and I ride Neiffer Rd. a good amount when we go with a group from Java's Brewin.

1964 Huffy Sportsman - Nottingham England

As foisted upon me at a swap meet. Free.

About the only original part reused was the frame and the headbadge.

Aluminum was used quite a bit in the refurbishment of this “lightweight”

Chainguard is Raleigh (actual manufacturer), wheels are a set that includes modern Nexus hub. Jagwire c

Lettering by yours truly. Headbadge and seat tube decals are repops

Bianchi Milano sourced the Kenda tires used. They look much better on the red Sportsman.

1974 Holdsworth Professional. Great colours. Nice riding bike too.

1962 Holdsworth Cyclone with Campagnolo Record. Lovely lugs on this one. I'm going to convert the crank to a triple so I can make it up the hills around here.

1946 Herse Competition. I really should ride this one more, but need to do something with the gearing:

Ugly Betty Hilda - what can I say? I can't argue. Really, she's not that pretty....but she is attractive. Look....I absolutely hate those rising stems but I just can't look away. Is it that 'car crash' thing? Then there's the discovery of those little gems and quirks that go beyond 'skin deep'.
You know what? I'd just love to take Betty for a ride around the neighbourhood. She looks to be fun and has such a great personality. She's an individual. I just love her - it was inevitable.

If you're ever in Australia and head up north to Hervey Bay, you'd be most welcome and you may even want to take one of my bikes for a ride.

I posted my '46 Hobbs earlier, and only just thought about a couple others "H" bikes that I overlooked. Unlike the Hobbs, both of the following have left my hands.
Houdaille, that I purchased as a frame/fork and built up for my wife:

Holdsworth Professional that wound up a victim of the first or second bike purge:
