Yet another "Date My Bianchi" thread

This guy followed me home the other day from a bike flipper for 90 bucks.

It is a Bianchi Adventure and it has Shimano Quick Fire shifters and is 21-speed.

The serial number is: HOM38765 (although it could be H0M38765)

Any Bianchi Whisperers know what "vintage" this comes from? Based on reading previous posts, I'm guessing early 90s.

Any suggestions on upgrades? Primarily going to be used on greenways, neighborhood rids (i.e. pavement and bike trails).

Thanks in advance and hope this isn't too repetitive of a thread!

Cheers!

Adventure? or Advantage? I think you have a '90 Advantage in Sierra Blue with a 'sport' style frame or what I like to call a Faux Mixte. Better pics would help but sounds like the shifters and derailleur may have been updated a bit.

I'd ride it a bit before I started on upgrades and changes to be sure you like the basic bike. The first thing I would suggest is a set of bar ends to give an extra hand position.
