Shallow drop bar for an early 80's Bianchi

I am in search of a shallow drop bar for my early 80's Bianchi. It currently has a Cinelli 66-44, and it is a little too deep for my fit on this bike. Also, would prefer a 42.

Any recommendations of something from the same period?

They're both modern, but Velo Orange and Soma both have compact drop bars available in silver with 26.0mm clamp diameters

Try a Cinelli 64-42 , Giro D’Italia. Shallower than the 66 and my favorite bar (handlebar that is). Most are 26.4 diameter so will also work with what I suspect is your Cinelli 26.4 stem.

Thanks, I think I have had that Giro bar on a previous bike. That is the drop and reach that I am looking for.

+1 for Soma Highway One
Also look at Nitto M151 (not the SSB version)

Nitto B65LL, if you can find one. Great classic style bar with shallower than usual drop for that era.

I ride 64-38 bars. If I liked 'em a little wider, I would bid on this:

cinelli stem and 64-40 bars on ebay

My 3ttt grand prix bars are just like my 64-38 bars. I've also had phillipe franco italia bars that are nearly identical. I think those are the D352 model.

Per old Cinelli data, measurements:

66-156 drop, 90 reach
65-147 drop, 77 reach
64-142 drop, 78 reach
63-147 drop, 76 reach

Probably in MMs but on quite sure, or how they are measured. Gives you comparison between their models though.

@Thalia949 If I'm correct 949 is your area code in the OC

I have some cinelli 64-40 drop bars you can have for the price of shipping. I believe they're 26.4 nar clamp.
