yes, mine is quite "slippery" & I like it. but like others have said, there's a sweet spot angle, you need to find

I put the Brooks on the Ironman just to try it out. The Ironman had a cheaper cushy seat in it when I got it. The Brooks will probably end up in my Miyata 912

My new saddles I want pretty much level, the older ones which are slightly sagged need a bit of tilt. Not much difference between the Pro and the B17 in that respect, IME. I do find the Pro a bit more comfy, but that's just my shape, I guess.

Depends. I find a well broken in B17 works quite well for a roady/racer type position - ie, not upright. They were after all used for racing for decades before the Pro came out.

For me, a Pro is more comfortable out of the box, but when well broken in and starting to get divots and sag, they become painful. OTOH, a new B17 feels too fat and awkward, but a soft floppy old B17 is like floating on a cloud. Weird because I have narrowish sit bones. I think the flatter shape both across and lengthwise agrees with my anatomy. Took me years to figure this out...

Anyhow, the moral is don't rule out a B17, even if you ride with an aggressive posture. It's not just for tourists! But it depends on you.
