Vendex?

Vendex was the house brand of Vroom & Dreesmann, aka V&D, a large Dutch retailer that went belly up a while ago. BITD you could buy Vendex ironing boards, camping gear, coffee machine accessories, typewriters and, it seems, bicycles.

Always reasonably-priced stuff, in the "bang for your buck" category. I wouldn't expect anything special, though.

The best indicator for the tubing grade, barring the presence of a tubing decal, is the outer diameter of the seat tube and seat post. The difference, plus the clearance allowance, allows us to determine the wall thickness of the seat tube, which is a good indicator of the tube alloy.
