my best friend in College got one after his
Schwinn varisty was stolen. I've always
envied that bike (and kind of lusted after one,
also baby blue).
Pics, we need pics.
if it was mine, I'd leave the original stuff on it.

Congratulations - they're beautiful bikes. I bought mine in '68, rode it for years, then gave it to my brother who still commutes with it. He won't even sell it back to me, the bum. I always loved the look of the pencil-thin seatstays wrapping over the top of the seatpost.

That's a San Remo, early to mid 70's. If it has chromed lugs, you're really in luck - it's a 76, their finest. I have a pair of them, scarfed off of ebay.

Very sweet riding bikes - smooth ride, but not at all flexy.

Mine is a Monoco and it's badging is completely different from the pictures above, it has a picture of a hawk side profile in a deep "V" down the seat tube and the head tube kind of like the college team helmet logo sorry can't remember the team. no wrap around rear tubes. I will get pictures have been too busy getting ready for a trip across the big pond.

Falcon sponsored a lot of teams in the 60's & 70's - search 'Falcon Tour of Britain' for info on riders etc.

If you use an editor you can crop the photo down. I also resize photo's if they are
really large. Worse case you should drop the resolution down (if it's a high rez photo).
you can also post it to web and then insert the image.
