Fred Deeley Cycles decals form the 70's

Hi, I'm from Victoria, BC, Canada & am trying to locate a photo of a Fred Deeley Cycles decal from the early 1970's. I have a Raleigh Firebird w/ such a decal in really bad shape & wish to restore it. If I could get an image of a good copy of this decal, I plan on getting this decal reproduced. This decal shows a circle with the letters FDC linked together with a pair of wings on either side, & "Distributed by Fred Deeley Cycles, Vancouver, B.C." around the perimeter of the circle. The colours are gold & black. There was a later decal similar with a red outer circle, w/ white centre + wings but I am not interested in that design. Are there any Canadian riders out there who still have old Raleighs or perhaps Apollos with such a decal still in good condition? Please help me anyone !

Fre Deeley is still in business, though as a Harley distributor, but my recollection is that they have a "museum".

Why don't you contact Fred Deeley in Vancouver and see if they can help you out??

Thanks, I've already gone that route. Emailed & phoned Deeley's Harley office, finally talked to someone supposedly in the know but he didn't have any info & wasn't particularly interested in helping. Don't think they even were aware that Deeley distributed bicycles at one time. The only thing we have in common with motorcycle types are that we have two wheels. Have left photo of my old beat-up decal with local bike shops to call me if they find one, but no luck yet.

Thanks Baxtefer, close but no cigars! I've already taken photos of that decal but your efforts is very much appreciated. Thanks.

I hope the OP is still reading 4 years later!

And in case he is, here's the headtube of a Deelite that I sold off awhile back:

It would be nice to see some pics - Wouldn't mind playing around with it for a vinyl decal knockoff...
