1971 Schwinn Twinn Deluxe Tires

I am trying to fix up an old Schwinn Twinn deluxe bike I got. I was able to find out that this is from 1971 and the rim markings say Tubular S5. Bought 3 different sets of 26 x 1 3/8 tires (all different brands) and it seems impossible to get any of them on because it is just way too tight.

Any ideas on what to do, or do I need to purchase specific tires for those rims? Super new to this so any help is appreciated.

I think you need to search SPECIFICALLY for Schwinn S5 tires.

For example:

Oh that makes perfect sense. I tried searching for Schwinn brand and I think thatís what was throwing me off! Thank you, I will give that a try.
