@jeirvine thanks for the update on the hardware. i haven't ordered, yet, so good. i think i'll wait until they sort the issue

@Cycle Tourist it's not a double. and, the smallest ring it'll accept is 36t. and, i have a nice 110/74 triple (sugino AT), it's just not the original crankset.....which would be worth it to me to be able to use to keep it more original and still have genuinely usable low gearing. a couple of hours in the shop tinkering? seems like fun to me
