Several good deals on local ads today. One was a really nice looking TX-900. Someone beat me to it. Grrr.

Would you believe a TX700?

How about a Huffy and an unopened pack of Bubblicious?

Been there done that and got the T shirt... My last one the seller knew I was coming and sold it while I was en route after he said he would give me time to show and pick the bike up...

I've had so many times where I missed a smoking deal, only to see something incredible pop up a few days later and, had I actually gotten the prior deal, I wouldn't have had enough to buy the better thing a few days later.

I'm not unconvinced "things happen for a reason". There's something to be said for letting the pins fall where they will.

My general rule is if something popped up once, then it will pop up again if I keep looking. Of course, there are the occasional once in a lifetime deals.

Sorry for your loss OP and nice get Smart reference -loved that opening sequence when I was a kid and sometimes when my wifi is on the fritz or I have a thorny bike maintenance issue I wish for a cone of silence to scream obscenities into....

I waited a day too long on a FB marketplace listing recently but the good news is that there is another deal around the corner when you least expect it.

Similar, If I did what I could do and miss it, then "it just wasn't meant to be" and let it go.

Good things come to those who wait, some times it takes years and then it happens SHOCKER a unicorn walks into your garage and you stare in amazement.

When I was a kid, I remember seeing Max shoot a lampshade by accident, and he licked his fingers and kinda tried to smooth it out to “fix” it. I still do that.

Pink lotus aero super pro (I did get a gold one later)
A 50s Frejus with wooden rims that I didn’t know enough about to buy
Tom ritchey tandem - went to another forum member (I didn’t have the space)

If that's a Get Smart reference, I don't get it. If that's not a Get Smart reference... why?

Anyone know what Agent 99's name was? Not the actress, but the character?
