Great score. Looks like the Sequoia of Sequoias!

Might these be the lugs you're speaking of?
I believe this Allez to be a '93...thanks to previous input by T-Mar.

What year was this Allez? It appears to be the same as mine, with the lugs pictured above.

This one was an 87. I hated selling it because of how nice it turned out, but the buyer was a younger guy that was excited to get a nice vintage bike. Feed the addiction I say!

After looking at catalogs and studying images, I still wonder what year the frame below is.
Bottom bracket has PL266814 on it, as well as BBC 2302.
Any ideas?

The one I had was serial#PL290476. So I would say 1987. Good looking frame.

Nice job on that one! Ride it a bit, then make your decision. They are nice riders...

I just pulled the trigger on a 1982 Yoshi Kono built Allez! I can't wait for it to arrive. Just like the one I remember from my days working at Wheels and Boards in Green Bay during summers back from school.

Testroad one in 1996 with dura ace 7410 and mavic cxp 30rims , very lively frame, comfy and good handling bike but I found something lacking compared to my peugeot prestige, the very thin section of tires made it a pain riding on rough roads beside that it was not the most nervous steel frame but one well made and one great road frame with fine craftsmanship.
