C&V'ed the office decor today

Long ago - so long ago that I can't even bring up the original thread here at BF - I wound up buying a lot of NOS Raleigh chainguards. In the collection was this bright lime guard for a Raleigh Space Rider...and for the next 10 years, I tried to sell, trade, and give it away to no avail (yep, it was in Pay it Forward for a while).

I wasn't about to trash it for a minute, even though it wound up annoying me from a storage perspective for a decade. Well, I'm pleased to say that I finally found it a home in my office:

It's not much, but it helps break up the Conformist Culture Creme of the walls. Here's how I cooked up the floating support. Works well, and the display height is just enough that you can't see the magic that the angle bracket does.

Very cool, I think it needs a segway to or from the next cool relic to go with it.

Kurt, very clever, but we need a wider perspective of your professional space in order that we can ascertain the amount of blank wall space. This will allow us to make further suggestions, or send you contributions for additions to your interior decorating. BTW, did you ScratchX and polish it first? I just don't see the normal luster of a cudak888 creation.

Agreed. Not sure what it'll be.

Tell me about it. They don't build them like they used to...thank goodness.
