Suntour single speed?
Hi all,
I'm rather new to the bike scene and I bought what I believe to be a 1993 Specialized Hardrock sport. What I didn't know was it had suntour drivetrain. My goal was to make it a single speed. I now am not sure what to do. I did some looking and found some single speed cogs on eBay but they list for bmx and I'm not sure if that's compatible. I'm so just considering getting a new rear wheel off Craigslist and just going the Shimano hg route.
Any advice is appreciated.
Additional information. It's currently 3x7 set up.

Does it have vertical dropouts?
If so, it's a challenge to keep the chain properly tensioned.
