This is not my picture, nor even my bike. I just like the photo. It was taken by Felix Adamo, a well known photographer in the Bakersfield, CA area where I grew up. This is Charlie Morton, working at Vincent's Cyclery, probably in the '60s. Charlie was our cycling mentor for our club, the Bakersfield Wheelmen back in the '60s. Charlie raced for the USA Olympic Cycling Team in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He was quite a charactor, and his son Harry did some racing in Europe for a few years too. Charlie is gone now, but I always liked this photo, and wanted to share it.
