Question for Raleigh Sports owners rolling on Schwalbe Delta Cruisers

I'm currently dealing with basic mid-grade Wanda tires on my 1951 Sports that don't play nice on straight-side rims. These are the only creme EA3's I've found available in the States (that aren't Schwalbe Delta Cruisers), but they have an issue in their casting that allows the bead to work its way off the straight sided rim. (More pics and explanations: Dirty in 5 minutes: New shoes for the '51 Raleigh)

Used tire that blew off in the back, replacement from the same seller on Amazon - note the minimal rubber around the bead:

Part of this may have something to do with the surface of the old 1950's Raleigh stainless rims allowing the bead a bit more slippage vs. the much more common chromed steel rims - as I recall, the Duro whitewalls I installed on this bike 12 or 13 years ago fit SUPER tight. But they never blew off, like the Wandas.

That said, before I try to find some NOS creme Delta Cruisers without the reflective sidewall, I thought I'd ask how tight these things generally fit - especially on Raleigh/Sturmey-Archer Westrick EA3's. The pattern of the stainless rims - including the inside - is identical to the chromed steel rims of the 1960's and 1970's, so I figure most Raleigh Sports owners with these tires should be representative.

Thanks!

-Kurt
