What else do you spend your money on?
When your not buying bikes what else are you guys spending your hard earned money on? Two years ago I finally made the commitment of learning how to play guitar. I’ve went through several acoustic guitars before finding the right ones. Now that I’m set I’m finally ready to start looking for bikes again. Where does everyone else’s money go when not buying vintage bikes?

Guitars, pocket watches and American made Lee Rider jeans.
I sold off any bike frames and parts I had. Now, I just ride.
I had 14 guitars at one point. Since I had a major cycling accident, 9 years ago, I stopped playing. So, I sold off almost all of the guitars.
I was getting into vintage pocket watch repair. But, my niece needed a place to live and I gave her my spare bedroom/watch repair area. So, watch repair is on the back burner.
As far as lee jeans go, I was pissed when they stopped making them in the U.S. So, I look for NOS ones in my size and buy them. Don't ask how many pairs I own. Luckily, my cycling keeps me the same size.

The same gear acquisition syndrome that drives my bike addiction has made me a lifelong guitar addict. The same cheapskate / hands-on traits that make me a C&V guy also drove me to build my own acoustic guitars. I’m not above buying a factory made electric if it’s a good deal though.

I used to be all about guitars; even made ten or so from scratch (not the necks, I got those from Warmoth and eBay).
Since I've lost most of my hearing, I haven't bought a guitar in over ten years. I'm going to be spending a ton on a cochlear implant soon, if the CT I'm scheduled for says I can get one. Maybe I'll be able to hear well enough to play again.
Like Seeds, I have a woodworking habit, too. But most of the wood I use is other people's cast off I get for free. Except the tools; I buy an occasional tool.

HO slot cars, I still had a few from when I was a kid back in the 60's and decided to get back into it about this time last year. It was fairly cheap when I was a kid but it sure isn't anymore!
The wheels on this one are modern but the body "molestation" was done 50 years ago! I'm leaving it just the way it was.
This one is an original from the early 70's except for the modern wheels and tires.

.....and some of the modern cars. The new stuff is insanely fast, they're just a blur going around the track and they WILL NOT come off the track, kind of takes the fun out of it. The old cars are more of a challenge, they aren't anywhere near as fast and they slide all over and fly off the track if you go into the corners too fast.
