For instance I had a decent Benotto for sale, but the seat post was stuck. I sold it at a great discount and the buyer was perfectly fine with it. I was kind of sad selling a few of them, but made room for some new ones in the stable :).

Were you selling the blue/white Schwinn Tempo? I think I remember seeing that bike at last year's swap if I'm not mistaken. It was awful tempting...if you didn't sell it and it's there next year then three times may be the charm. I'll at least stop by to say hi next time!

Almost all vendors accept cash while many commercial vendors will also accept credit cards or checks. Overall though, cash is still the preferred method of payment. Our event has grown so much over the past several years however that the onsite ATMs always run out of cash by mid-day. Please keep this in mind while planning your payment strategy!

On an aside, a lot of bicycles get moved. A LOT of bicycles get moved. Last year I was near the door where bikes came in and it was like crazy. Later (noon-ish) I went to the bike sale corral and it was near empty.
